Scaffolding Design Inspect and Manage
It is a requirement of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 that unless a scaffold is assembled to a generally recognised standard configuration, eg NASC Technical Guidance TG20 for tube and fitting scaffolds or similar guidance from manufacturers of system scaffolds, the scaffold should be designed by bespoke calculation, by a competent person, to ensure it will have adequate strength, rigidity and stability while it is erected, used and dismantled.
We work in partnership with a number of fast-response scaffold design companies, who with a practical approach to scaffold design and temporary works design services allow us to meet our clients’ needs in good time.
Our designers support a range of different system scaffolds and areas including demolition, main access scaffolding, refurbishment works, protection and gantries and we work over a range of industries, including rail, air and power.
Whilst designed scaffold drawing need to show how the scaffolds are constructed, they also need to be proven to work by calculations and full calculations are provided with every design with attendance on site throughout the project should it be required to incorporate any changes or amendments.
